Day 1: Arrive in Guwahati
Welcome to Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India. Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a serene sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River, one of the great rivers of the world. Guwahati, known for its ancient temples, is home to the revered Kamakhya Temple, making it a vibrant cultural and spiritual hub. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati to Cherrapunjee (144 km | 5 hrs | 1,300 m elevation)
Begin your ride to Cherrapunjee, famed as one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, stop by Elephant Falls, Umiam Lake, and Mawsmai Falls.
